Throughout his youth and into adulthood, operating and maintaining his family’s heavy equipment was never more than days away. After high school Kelsey left Maple Valley and attended the University of Washington graduating with a Communications degree. After some time in his respective field of study the draw to his roots became undeniable and in 2000 he transitioned to a small heavy equipment company in Outside Sales. Within a few years he became a Sales Manager and ultimately the VP of Operations. In the first part of 2012 Kelsey started RJC with one mission: “Listen to your client and provide them with a product and service unmatched in both quality and price - it’s just that simple. We stand behind every machine we sell.”

Locally owned and operated

RJC Equipment has been locally owned and operated in the Pacific Northwest for over 5 years. RJC is the vision of Kelsey Woods, a Pacific Northwest native.

​​Kelsey grew up in the industry “I learned how to drive on a 1950 Massy Ferguson agricultural tractor at the age of 8, then graduated to our old CAT D5 – it was heaven. I guess it’s just in your blood.” His experience allows for a unique, real-world approach in identifying client needs.

The vast majority of RJC’s client base have been purchasing equipment from Kelsey for over 17 years. With annual sales increasing year over year the future is optimistic.
